Zahra Barat
Zahra started her artistic career as an actress with the Simorgh’s children theater group in 2010, where she later collaborated as costume design assistance. Despite the fact that her father opposed her school education, Zahra and her older sister Mahbuba managed to secretly attend courses of the Simorgh Film Association. She has worked with different theater groups including Negar Theater in Herat and Kabul.
After the Taliban came to power, Zahra and her family had to flee to Iran, where she lived illegally with her mother and sister in Mashhad.
Zahra is now a scholarship holder at the Akademie der Künste, Berlin and also lives in Berlin.

زهرا برات

زهرا کار هنری اش را به عنوان بازیگر در گروه تیاتر کودکان سیمرغ در سال 2010 آغاز کرده است، جایی که او دیرتر کارش را به عنوان همکار طراح لباس ادامه داد. زهرا و محبوبه خواهر بزرگتراش مجبور بودند که به صورت پنهانی در کورس های انجمن سیمرغ فلم اشتراک می کردند. او برعلاوه سیمرغ، با گروه های تیاتر مختلف به شمول نگار، در هرات و کابل کار کرده است.

بعد از به قدرت رسیدن طالبان، زهرا و خانواده اش مجبور شدند که به ایران فرار کنند. هم اکنون زهرا همراه با مادر و خواهرش در مشهد ایران زندگی می کنند.
