Fariba Baqeri
Fariba is an actress and film director, who started her artistic work in Simorgh Theater’s acting and film making courses in 2010. Her first short films, My Mother And I, as well as
What's Happened?, won third and first prize at the Street Children Short Film Festival and Raze Noor Festival in 2010 and 2012. Together with the Bond Street Theater in Herat,
she has organized and led workshops and trainings for girls and women who live prison, shelters , Omid house for children and Children's Correctional Center. She used theatre as a platform for social change and development, advocating for the education, social and political participation of girls and women. Through her works she has emphasized the importance of women’s participation in society and their voting in Afghan elections.
In 2012 she was partaking in the Black Sea International Theater Festival in Trabzon and WPIC in Stockholm, performing Masks Under the Burka. When returning to Herat, she was attacked in the street by unknown men. Still she continued her work with different film and theater groups including Negar Theater. After the Taliban came to power she at first fled to Tehran. Befor coming in Gremany she has been living in Pakistan for two mounts. Since the 8th of September Fariba is in Germany. She is the first of five women participating in the play that arrived in Germany.

فریبا بازیگر و کارگردان سینما است که از سال 2010 فعالیت هنری خود را در دوره های بازیگری و فیلمسازی تئاتر سیمرغ آغاز کرد. اولین فیلم کوتاه او به نام من و مادرم و همچنین چی جریان دارد؟، برنده جایزه سوم و اول جشنواره فیلم کوتاه کودکان خیابانی و جشنواره رازه نور در سال های 2010 و 2012 شد. او کارگاه ها و آموزش هایی را برای دختران و زنانی که زندان ها، پناهگاه ها، مرکز اصلاح و تربیت اطفال و خانه امید برای اطفال، همراه با بوند استریت تیاتر در هرات سازماندهی و رهبری کرده است. او از تئاتر به عنوان بستری برای تغییر و توسعه اجتماعی استفاده کرد و از آموزش، مشارکت اجتماعی و سیاسی دختران و زنان دفاع کرد. او از طریق آثار خود بر اهمیت مشارکت زنان در جامعه و رای دادن آنها در انتخابات افغانستان تاکید کرده است. در سال 2012 او در جشنواره بین المللی تئاتر دریای سیاه در ترابزون و WPIC در استکهلم شرکت کرد و ماسک های زیر برقع را اجرا کرد. او هنگام بازگشت به هرات در خیابان مورد حمله مردان ناشناس قرار گرفت. او همچنان با گروه های مختلف فیلم و تئاتر از جمله تئاتر نگار به کار خود ادامه داد. پس از به قدرت رسیدن طالبان، او ابتدا به تهران گریخت. قبل از امدنش به المان دو ماه در پاکستان زندگی میکرد که از تاریخ 8 سپتامبر فریبا در آلمان است. او اولین زن از پنج زن شرکت کننده در این نمایش است که وارد آلمان شد. تولید پرندگان زیرزمینی، محصول مشترک Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen (IT)، KULA Compagnie، Hålogaland Teater Tromsø (NO) و سیمرغ تئاتر، هرات (AF).
