Mareike Lehne

Mareike ist eine Kulturschaffende, Projektmanagerin und Weltenbummlerin aus Hannover. Sie entdeckte ihre Leidenschaft für das kulturelle Projektmanagement 2018 in ihrem Freiwilligendienst am soziokulturellen Zentrum „Haus der Jugend Hannover“, in dem sie vorrangig Kulturprojekte in der Kinder- und Jugendarbeit organisierte. Daran schloss sie ihren Bachelor of arts der „Kulturwissenschaften und ästhetischen Praxis“ an der Universität Hildesheim an, mit den Hauptfächern Musik und Theater. Das Studium wurde begleitet durch verschiedene Praktika und Festivalassistenzen u.a. beim Niedersächsischen Landeswettbewerb „Jugend musiziert“ 2020, dem „Best OFF – Festival Freier Theater“ 2022 und dem Usedomer Musikfestival 2022, sowie einem einjährigen Auslandsaufenthalt an der Andrássy Universität in Budapest.

Seit 2022 studiert sie im Masterprogramm „Theater- und Musikmanagement“ an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main. Aktuell forscht sie im Rahmen ihrer Masterarbeit zum Thema Soziokultur in Deutschland und nimmt an einem Austauschprogramm mit der Charles University in Prag teil. Mareike ist außerdem begeisterte Hobbymusikerin und spielt seit ihrem 12. Lebensjahr Harfe, Klavier und Gitarre – letztere nur am Lagerfeuer.

Seit 2023 arbeitet sie im Produktionsteam der KULA Compagnie und begleitete die Produktionen JOURNALS OF EXILE (2023 Akademie der Künste Berlin), UNDERGROUND BIRDS (2023 dasvinzenz München), DIE STUNDE DA WIR NICHTS VONEINANDER WUSSTEN (2023 Aranya Festival China) und DIBBUK – BETWEEN (TWO) WORLDS (2024 Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen).

Mareike is a cultural project manager and globetrotter from Hanover. She discovered her passion for cultural project management in 2018 during her voluntary service at the socio-cultural center "Haus der Jugend Hannover", where she primarily organized cultural projects in children's and youth work. She then studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in "Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice" at the University of Hildesheim, majoring in music and theater. Her studies were accompanied by various internships and festival assistantships, including at the Lower Saxony state competition "Jugend musiziert" 2020, the "Best OFF - Festival Freier Theater" 2022 and the Usedom Music Festival 2022, as well as a one-year stay abroad at Andrássy University in Budapest.

Since 2022, she has been studying in the Master's program "Theater and Music Management" at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. She is currently researching socioculture in Germany as part of her master's thesis and is taking part in an exchange program with Charles University in Prague. Mareike is also an enthusiastic hobby musician and has been playing the harp, piano and guitar since the age of 12 - the latter mostly around the campfire.

She has been part of the KULA Compagnie production team since 2023 and has accompanied the productions JOURNALS OF EXILE (2023 Akademie der Künste Berlin), UNDERGROUND BIRDS (2023 dasvinzenz Munich), DIE STUNDE DA WIR NICHTS VONEINANDER WUSSTEN (2023 Aranya Festival China) and DIBBUK – BETWEEN (TWO) WORLDS (2024 Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen).
