Rahela Rezaie
Born in 1995 in Herat, AF | Actress in theatre and film since 2009

Graduate of law and political science at the University of Herat.
Participation in performances such as Stones and Mirrors (at the invitation of the National School of Drama, New Delhi) and Masks Under the Veil (Trabzon Women's Theatre Festival & WPIC Stockholm, Artists Without Coffins Theatre at the 8th National Theatre Festival of Afghanistan)
Actress in numerous series (Zabān-e Zarghari, Kalke Sheshom, Facebook Dad Com, Marriage Proposal for the Wife, Saeed and Sahar, Omid and Arezou) and in the short film
When God Takes Your Hand (SWIFF USA, 2023), among others.

After the Taliban seized power, Rahela was targeted and shot by radical Islamist forces.
She has been living in Bavaria, Germany, since 2024.
